I just had 2 months break from boxing training, after 3 years of consistent training.
I thought that I would probably die near the end of the first session. Amazingly I didn’t, in fact I did very well. I really don’t get it.
It seems that the body sometimes needs time to assimilate it’s lessons. It doesn’t disintegrate overnight. So it won’t hurt if every now and then you indulge in a little more food or a little less training for a week or two. Justa as long as you get back to the original pattern again all will be well.

Hit me when I’m not looking
Martial arts, boxing and I guess, even life requires the ability to focus. You have to know where you want to be and you have to focus on looking for opportunities to get there. If you are easily distracted you will get hit and hits hurt, whether physical or emotional. Read the rest of this entry »
